Amarok Biotechnologies is a biotechnology laboratory located near Dinan, specialising in customised services for businesses. It has its own research and development departments and a multidisciplinary team working on a wide range of scientific and technical activities.
Among these activities, we support one of our partners in managing and monitoring its commercial relations with clients in France across several sectors: agri-food industries, analysis of antibiotic residues in milk, and analysis of mycotoxins in grain. Faced with the rapid evolution of these markets and the many challenges our clients face, our role is to support them by offering innovative, reliable and easy-to-implement solutions.
In line with this dynamic, we are recruiting a field technical sales representative to contribute to the development of these activities.
Your main tasks will be:
Reporting to the Head of France and working closely with our US-based partner, your role will be to manage and develop your portfolio across France:
Business development & prospecting
- Present, promote and sell our solutions by highlighting their technical relevance and operational benefits;
- Implement and regularly monitor a commercial prospecting plan.
Support & customer relations
- Provide personalised follow-up to customers and prospects by effectively maintaining current business and establishing relationships of trust;
- Guide and provide technical support to customers for different product ranges;
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and quickly while contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer support processes and tools.
Management of sales support & internal coordination
- Provide administrative and commercial support to our partner’s customer service department: use of a CRM system, tracking of customer orders;
- Provide regular reports to your managers.
You will receive internal training that will enable you to enhance the quality of your work:
- Identification and synthesis of relevant market information: prospecting, follow-up with direct clients and end users.
- Competitive intelligence and market analysis: technical and commercial arguments for products and their development.
- Regular reporting to your managers: customer satisfaction, changes and expectations of customers, products and the market in general.
Teamwork and collaboration. You are a person with a proven sense of responsibility, who is independent, organised, responsive, a good communicator and comfortable with problem solving.
Required qualities and skills: Enjoy helping customers develop reliable and safe solutions for the public, want to participate in an ambitious business project, be willing to travel regularly, be persuasive, and have an appetite for using technology.
With a two- or three-year degree and knowledge of the dairy or agri-food industry focused on quality control, you have one to two years of professional experience in the agri-food industry.
English and a driving licence are essential.

Salary: agreed remuneration, gross monthly salary between €2,530 and €2,850 depending on experience and sales + company car for travel + remote working possible + attractive employer-funded group health insurance.
